Junior Machine Learning Intern

The company is led by globally renowned experts who previously headed large groups at Microsoft and Intel. The company HQ is located in Singapore (One North Area)
We are looking for a highly motivated junior intern to join our AI team that delivers innovative Computer Vision solutions to global customers. You will conform to high standards and work in a cutting edge, dynamic, and professionally challenging environment.
Successful interns may be offered a full-time permanent position at Cynapse at the end of the internship period
As part of your role you will:
- Label and analyze large sets of Visual (images and videos)
- Train machine learning models using commercial tools like Tensorflow, PyTorch, Caffé etc.
- Gather customers feedback and improve existing ML models and algorithms.
- Write code (Python) to prepare, use, enhance and test models.
- Research public ML models and data sets
- Completed at least 1 year of studies as part of a Diploma/Bachelor/Master in one of the the following subjects : IT/Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems/Statistics/Mathematics , or Completed an online/similar Machine Learning Course/Program * At least 3 months experience in Python programming
- Completed at least 1 Uni/Online course in Machine Learning
- Analytical Thinking
- Bonus Areas: TensorFlow, C++, OpenCV, Big Data, Mathematics
Duration
- Candidate should be able to commit to at least 6 months of internship and preferably longer
- Candidate should be able to commit to work at least 4 days a week and preferably full-time.
- There is a flexibility with the start and end dates as well as flexibility in accommodating exams, leave etc.
Due to the nature of the role, the position is considered for candidates that are only based in Singapore or has experience studying/working in Singapore
