Job Description

We are hiring a Frontend Developer to build and scale the web experience of our enterprise Video Intelligence platform. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver reusable UI components, robust data-driven workflows, and consistent user experiences across multiple modules. This role requires strong React fundamentals, clean engineering practices, and attention to performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development & UI Delivery

  • Build and maintain reusable React components and product features
  • Implement consistent, accessible UI using MUI (Material UI)
  • Ensure responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility across modern browsers
  • Maintain a strong focus on accessibility (a11y) and UX consistency

Data Fetching & API Integration

  • Manage data fetching, caching, and synchronization using TanStack Query (React Query) or similar libraries
  • Integrate backend APIs using Axios (or Fetch) and handle responses, errors, and loading states
  • Implement predictable loading patterns, retry logic, and error boundaries where required

Routing, State, and Application Patterns

  • Handle client-side routing using React Router (react-router-dom, v6+)
  • Manage state using Context API and useReducer, applying modern React patterns
  • Understand React rendering behavior and optimize component update cycles when needed

Internationalization & Product Readiness

  • Implement internationalization using react-i18next (or similar)
  • Support scalable localization patterns and UI layouts across multiple languages
  • Contribute to shared component libraries and improve UI consistency across products

Engineering Practices

  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team standards
  • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to plan and deliver features efficiently

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of frontend development experience with a focus on React
  • Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (closures, async/await, Promises) and OOP principles
  • Experience building UI using MUI or similar component libraries (Chakra UI, Ant Design, etc.)
  • Experience with TanStack Query / React Query, or strong familiarity with similar tools (SWR, RTK Query)
  • Comfortable with React Router (v6+) for client-side navigation and route structure
  • Basic understanding of i18n and localization practices in frontend development
  • Experience using Axios (or Fetch) for API integration and data handling
  • Familiarity with Context API/Provider and useReducer patterns
  • Comfortable working with Git in a collaborative, branch-based workflow
  • Familiarity with modern tooling such as Vite/Webpack, npm/yarn, ESLint, and Prettier

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Recoil, or other state management libraries
  • Knowledge of React performance optimization (memoization, avoiding unnecessary re-renders, code splitting, useMemo/useCallback)
  • Experience with frontend testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest, or Cypress
  • Strong accessibility know-how (WCAG/ARIA) and attention to UI/UX details
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and basic monitoring/debugging practices (e.g., browser devtools profiling)
